Tour Description:
Day 01: Once you arrive at Dhaka airport, you will be received by our representative and transferred to designated hotel. After freshen up, we'll go for a short city tour (if time permits) and visit Ahsan Manzil (closed on Thursday for day and Friday till 14:30 hrs) known as Pink Palace, Dhaka University Campus Area - Curzon Hall, Shaheed Minar - Language Monument, Dhakeswari Hindu Temple, Lalbagh Red Fort (closed on Sunday for day and Monday till 14:30 hrs).We can go for shopping as well if not interested to visit the above mentioned area. That night we will stay at Dhaka.
Day 02: We will start for our Dhaka - Sreemangal via Sonargaon journey (220 km, 6-7 hrs drive approx ). After taking early morning breakfast, we will drive to Sreemangal (preferred time 07:00 hrs) En-route we will stop at Sonargaon - the old capital of Golden Bengal. The city was under Turkish Sultanate during 1280 AD. Then we will visit the ruins of Panam City (the lost city) and Folk - art Museum (closed on Wednesday &Thursday) Then we will continue our journey to Sreemangal. This road journey through the Asian Highway will be memorable & attractive with wonderful natural view of countryside, village markets and rivers .Upon arrival, we will check into designated hotel and stay overnight at Sreemangal.
Day 03: Sreemangal - Dhaka (200 km, 6 hrs drive approx). At early morning, we will explore the Lawachara Rain Forest, a reserved forest for conservation of wildlife. In this beautiful rain forest you can walk through the majestic standing trees which are unexploited for centuries. One can easily find out wild animals, like - Capped Langurs, Slow Loris, Yellow-throated Marten, Hoolock Gibbons, Asian Black Bear, Rock Python and many other beautiful birds, Hoolock Gibbon is one seriously endangered higher primate that lives in this forest .Then we will visit Khasia tribal village, tea garden and drink famous seven colored tea. then we will drive back to Dhaka in the afternoon and stay overnight.
Day 04: Departure from Dhaka.
